There are over forty courses available and the majority of these are now accredited through the National Open College Network, a nationally recognised awarding body. Note that many organisations imply that their courses are accredited when they are not. Do not be misled by references to 'higher diplomas' or fancy logos. Recognised qualifications will be accredited through an organisation recognised and approved by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA) such as the Open College Network or City & Guilds.
