This course has been written to give owners confidence when coping with the everyday injuries which their dog may suffer. It will also be of value to those running training classes, working in boarding kennels, veterinary practices and pet shops where puppies and dogs in their care may suffer injury or illness. In addition to coping with minor injuries, the student will learn to compare the signs of good health with signs of possible problems, to recognise pain signals and administer medication. The course also covers the essential actions necessary when coping with an emergency such as a road accident or the ingestion of poison.
